Event 1:
The Department organized a state level seminar on 4th October 2019 On “Recent Trends in Banking”. Dr. A. Noor Mohamed, Associate Professor & Head, PG & Research Department of Commerce Islamiah College, Vaniyambadi was the chief guest and delivered a special lecture on this topic. 300 students from various colleges participated and benefited.
Event 2:
The Department organized an Inter departmental programme on 27.08.2019 On “Self Motivation”. Dr.R.PADMAJA, Associate Professor & Head, PG & Research Department of Commerce D.K.M College For Women (Autonomous) Vellore-632 001 was the chief guest and delivered a special lecture on this topic.
Event 3:
The department’s association was inaugurated on 27.08.2019. The following students were elected as President, Secretary and Joint Secretary.

Out Campus Achievements:
1.On 28.08.2019, 12 of our students participated in national seminar on “Young Entrepreneurship Development” conducted by Sacred Heart College, Tirupattur.
2. On 23.09.19, Marudhar Kesari Jain College for Women, Vaniyambadi conducted an inter-collegiate competition on “ Comm-Unique’19 – Events” . 15 of our students participated in various events and Z.MOHAMMED FAZIL, II B.Com CA won first prize in movie making.
3. Sacred Heart College conducted an inter-collegiate competition “Sharp 2K19”. Our students participated in the competition and won prizes.
